I was born and educated in Sarajevo where I work as a translator in education field. I gained my B.Sc. degree from Sarajevo University where I studied English language and literature. Earlier to interpreting, I was teaching English in high school and held courses for adults. My profession is my occupation as well. I am a vivid learner in emancipating language in mother tongue and English. I firmly stand for promoting teaching and writing in foreign language. Communication and language competencies come before others while reading and writing skills open up avenues of thinking, expanding the understanding. We evolve through educating into literate and thoughtful individuals to stand for the well-being of society and humanity.
My interests in writing grew bolder and I found myself writing in English extensively. I started writing poems in English with hope of sharing them with readers soon. In translating I gained notable knowledge in art, movies, literature, and education, the last being my professional interest. I learned that teachers feature crucial to pupils’ achievements and development. A teacher is the single most important factor to influence learning results. Better to say it is the teacher’s expectancy over someone’s ability that shapes learning outcomes. So teachers have to cherish the noblest heart of all, in assisting young people gain knowledge and feel approved for what they are and for what they might become in learning. This said, we can all become self-taught teachers in discovering our own learning scene. The education is really on the go and it is breaking free. And indeed, we can even so.
